Specifically, it sought answers to the following questions: What is the profile of the students in terms of age, sex,college department, year level and seminar/training attended in solid waste management? What are the perceptions of the students on the solid waste management practices in Romblon State University? What are the perceptions of the students towards the best practices of proper solid waste disposal in Romblon State University? is there a significant relationship between the demographic profile of the students and the solid waste management practices?
The respondents were one hundred fifty(150) students of Romblon State University from first year to fourth year. The descriptive method of each research was used in the study using the questionaires as gathering instrument on the respondents. The data were analyzed and computed using weighted mean,frequency and percentage. The test were used a Purposive Sampling to determine the sample size of the respondents population to know the significant relationship between the demographic profile of the students and the solid waste management practices.
