Mobile Learning is becoming more popular and accessible worldwide. M-Learning or Mobile learning is learning of any knowledge using portable technologies like mobile phones, iPods and PDA's since they have more processing power and more interesting applications than were commonly available on desktop machines a decade ago. Technology has continued to play a pivotal role in teaching and learning, though mobile technologies and devices have their own share of pros and cons. We must consider how mobile learning can be used to provide learners with better opportunities and enhanced learning outcomes. In this article, the authors discuss about the basic information about m-learning; definitions, platforms and principles of m-learning; disadvantages and advantages of m-learning; finally a glimpse of future is provided.
