This study assessed the different species of sea grasses as well as its distribution in the selected shorelines of Ferrol, Romblon. To determine the different species of sea grasses found in selected areas of Ferrol, Romblon. To determine the distribution of sea grasses species in different barangays in Ferrol in terms of: density, relative density, dominance, relative dominance, frequency, relative frequency, importance value and importance percentage. The data gathered in every transect line. After collecting sea grasses it was identified and counted.This was performed during low tide. The results showed that the different sea grasses were Halodulepinifolia,Enhalusthalasia, Enhaluscoroides and Halophila minor.This study was conducted in selected areas of Ferrol, Romblon on August to September 2012 during low tide. The descriptive survey method in this study was completely analyzed with 5 transect lines. The sea grasses were gathered from 5 transect lines laid in the intertidal areas of sea grasses. The data on the result were gathered and identified the different sea grasses species. The sea grasses species were collected and counted during low tide of the months to be recorded. The result of the study revealed the four different kinds of species of sea grasses were found in Ferrol, Romblon and the most dominant species in each areas.
